1st Qtr. Final Exam – Due Monday, 11/12/18

Send an audio of Psalms 136:1-3 as a song that you sing or simply recite it. Also, send a complete transliteration of Psalms 136:1-3.  All work must be sent to the following emails by the 12th of November:

Syllabus – 1st Quarter

Class Description: Our primary goal will be to teach you how to pronounce and read Hebrew words. We will spend the majority of the Hebrew 101 learning the proper phonetic sounds of the Hebrew consonants and vowels, through many different types of exercises.

  • Learn to recognize and pronounce the Hebrew Aleph Bet
  • Learn to recognize and pronounce the Hebrew vowels (Nikot)
  • Drills using the phonetic sounds of the Hebrew Aleph Bet
  • Learn a Hebrew song
  • Begin reading and building vocabulary from the reading exercise
